Kings Of Leon slam Reading Festival crowd after headline show

Nathan Followill calls fans 'frozen'

I was there on Friday for KOL and left Reading before they finished their set. I've since re-watched it on TV and can see just how bored the boys look up there and you ever hear Caleb make a dig at the "cold" audience saying that he "doesn't want to say anything negative".It was just as cold with the same crowd for Kaiser Chiefs who were on right before them and I actually don't like Kaiser Chiefs that much, but they rocked the crowd. They entertained us, made us jump, interacted and ... basically did their job. KOL did not. They were dull, boring and don't like the fact that they've only just become as big as they are now on the back of "Sex On Fire" and the "Only By Night" record. They should be more humble, more interactive and learn that they are paid to entertain the crowd, not the other way around.

Queens Of The Stone Age man responds to homophobe accusations

'I’ve never said being gay is wrong' says Josh Homme

Bwahahaha! Josh has a habit of not taking crap from the audience, there's another recorded incident where he calls a "fan" a c**ksmoker for the same reason - why should artists have to suffer stuff being thrown at them while they play, especially when they're amazingly talented. Name-calling of this nature is just that, name-calling and simply can't be taken literally. If you're a public figure of any description absolutely anything you say out of context will be held against you, just look at the Isaiah Washington incident - although there's no youtube footage of that to show exactly how it went down.Good on Josh for standing up for non-politically correctism ... another "ism" to label things by, marvellous.
