how is this situation not Banhart;s solely? isn't it his video and art direction? isn't he the one who should know if it was offensive or not. Hindus might be forgiving, but they suck at root causation. This seems more of an attempt to get a celebrity like Natalie involved with promoting their organization through intimidation and guilt.

shouldn't axl be paying this kid for the free publicity? I couldn't think of a better way to explain and promote "chinese democracy" than prosecuting this kid the way that they are.

The Dandy Warhols to release their own records

Band leave the world of major labels behind

agree with both of you.last album would have sold better if they chose "down like disco" or "holding me up". they seem to always pick the wrong singles off the album. i'm not sure if they are doing it to preseve artistic cred or whatever, but if they actually concerned about selling records and are going to blame the label like they do here, they have to look in the mirror first. I wouldn't like them either based on "smoke it", "all the money", "we used to be friends", "not if you were the last junkie on earth", "bohemian like you", etc. they either do it themselves or let someone do it for them, but their singles are horrible choices. combine that with the fact that that type of rock and roll does not sell millions anyway and you are going to struggle. thank god i've been with them since TV theme song (probably the best single they've released so far) and know that their albums are deeper than their singles.courtney taylor taylor taylor should just write whatever album he is going to write and if he needs the money, write a few extra pop songs for TV commercials and ringtones.

Radiohead kick off 2008 world tour

Band get things started with Florida gig

the concert was very mellow having started out with all i need, but was very good. this show you really needed to be holding onto your loved one while watching - it was a lot more mellow and romantic of a show than previous. there were a few mistakes/miscues i'm not used to seeing radiohead do, but i think i liked it more because of them. highlights: house of cards, airbag, 15step, exit music, how to disappear, bangers and mashonly thing missing was paranoid android, which they should have done if only to raise the energy of the show. bangers and mash was excellent though.
