Say what you like about old wobble-voice - he's never predictable. Antony Hegarty's latest release is a cover of Puccini's aria 'Nessun Dorma', recorded for a Lavazza coffee advertising campaign.
In the minds of the Italian brand, and possibly Hegarty himself, 'Nessun Dorma' is redolent of sophistication and opulence. To British ears, though, it just reminds us of Gazza sobbing and the humiliation of penalty shoot-outs. Possibly not the association they were aiming for.
