This is Milo Cordell. I met him four years ago in a pub called the Maquis of Granby in New Cross, London where he was attempting to woo Klaxons into letting them release 'Atlantis To Interzone' and James Righton was wandering around showing random strangers the article I'd just written about them in Vice. I remember him making me feel really stupid for not knowing the full history of Eel Pie Island.
Shortly after that encounter he started a label called Merok that went on to release the aforementioned single, as well as Crystal Castles, and more recently Titus Andronicus, Salem and Teengirl Fantasy.

Rumours have been rife about what's going on between our two parties for a while now. Hushed voices behind ajar doors. It's been hard keeping it under wraps. It has been uncomfortable for all of ours friends and families... But as of this week a real weight has been lifted of our shoulders. We're out in the open. We're screaming it from the rooftops!
We're in lust! Radar and Merok are doing the eight-legged sticky beast, and there's nothing you can do to stop us. Hopefully you can at least enjoy the fruits of our passion in this weeks Merok hosted Radar section in the mag. And like a guilty cheating father buying his dewy-eyed son a new mountain bike to ease his conscience, how about this crop of absolute doozies:
There's some absolute effin killers in here. I'm more excited about the Gucci Mane Salem remix than anything I've put up here (two of my favouritest people in the whole world right now making each other sound even better than usual- yisss!). The Comanechi remix by obscenely talented Sheffield post-dubstep ice-age tropicalist Ghost Hunter is pretty ridiculous... Then there's new exclusives from Teengirl Fantasy/Telepathe, Blondes, Divorce, Active Child. It's like, almost over-doing it, right?
Active Child - 'I'm In Your Church Tonight'
Gucci Mane - 'Round One (Salem Remix)'
Telepathe - 'Devil's Trident (Teengirl Fantasy remix)'
Comanechi - 'Close Enough To Kiss (Ghost Hunter remix)'
Blondes - 'Moondance'
Divorce - 'Juice Of Youth'
