Sorry, it's not much of a headline, but they are.

These guys are the new Love Is All

Ok, so that's not exactly the most exciting prospect ever...but Black Kids are amazing.

They've got exactly the same kind of My Bloody Valentine gone frat, rocking out on party street vibe going on as Love Is All or even Go! Team... you know that ketamine-daze-washed-out-quality? No? oh.

Check them out here.

I'll be honest, I don't know anything about them, but they've got Diplo intheir Top Eight, which is always a good sign.

'I'm Not Gonna Teach You' is my favourite. I just put it up on my myspazz page.

Do the same, start a craze.

If you think Black Kids sound good on their MySpace profile, you absolutely MUST see them live. Whoever signs these guys first... wins.

Good band that deserves the love... My Bloody Valentine though??? I don't know about that...

THey sound nothing like MBV at all from what I've heard. Trust NME to hit the crackpipe and come up with such a lame and desperate buzz-seeking description ("My Bloody Valentine rocking out on the street vibe" indeed). QuicK! Now's the opportunity to try and think up a new genre, lump a load of bands into it that sound nothing like each other at all and invent a fake scene to try and sell more papers to naiive kiddies! Wow!

too bad about the exploitative racist objectifying name.

I agree. They were great when they supported Kate Nash at Rock City this past Sunday night.
