My god that list scares me!! Shows you that the UK's taste in Music is very very poor!! It looks like atleast 5 out of the 10 songs are because of X factor / Pop idol freaks...

The problem is that the bastards who have perpetrated the crimes on this list just don't give shit. As long as they make money, they don't care how much crap, meaningless music they flood the world with. At the moment, we can look back on British music with pride, that bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc, became the biggest and best bands in the world off their own backs. In 20, 30, 40 years, we're going to look back on the current era of British music with nothing but shame and disgust, and all the money in the world won't change that.

There is one song on this list that does deserve to be there -'Kylie's 'Can't Get You OUt Of My Head.' Pure class. And one of only three that wasn't a TV tie-in (the others being band Aid 20 and Shaggy). What does that tell us? On the one hand, great that the single still isn't dead, but there are so many better singles that should have done it? And how many of the above list have ended up in charity shops?

there really isn't one good song listed. And there never will be, unless the current "formula" for chart success changes.
