Amy Winehouse cancels London show

Singer pulls out of Island Records bash

Amy Winehouse has cancelled her previously-scheduled London show, which had been set to take place at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 31.

No reason was given for the cancellation.

The show, part of the star's label Island Records' 50th birthday celebrations, had been set to mark a comeback of sorts for the 'Rehab' singer. She made her first performance of 2009 at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival earlier this month, although the set was scuppered halfway through due to conditions at the event.

Refunds for the London show tickets will be given at the points of purchase.

Surprised much?! Nope.

That's a brilliant picture. She looks like she's smelled a bad fart and realised how utterly pointless she is both at exactly the same moment.

There are hundreds of young musicians working their balls off for a break and yet this fecking old hag and her male counterpart, Pete Doughnut, continually show no respect for their fans but get more popular by the day. I despair, I really do :-(

From what I've seen she's a waste of space, i admit i have'nt seen her live in person only on tv and my humble opinion is (best use symbols) sh!%t, go explore something new elsewhere.

She has just been touring the same album for 3 years making us and clearly her (as seen on any performance) bored of her songs which makes all of her live appearances extremely poor from what I have seen on TV. When she soes so something else it's cod reggae. Back To Black was an instant classic but not any more she's ruined it for everyone, Im no longer a fan.

I wish she'd fuck off for ever. Rubbish. Fucking shite.

It really is time for her to fuck off and not come back now. Why the hell aren't her label dropping her like a particularly fetid turd? Surely she can't be selling any records and she sure as hell ain't going to record another one.Just let her drift off into obscurity please. I'm sick of looking at her.

the sale of tickets to "concerts" by amy winehouse, pete doherty, and michael jackson should be considered as "gambling" and therefore illegal
