Amy Winehouse found not guilty of assault
Singer cleared after being accused of punching dancer
The verdict was given today (July 24) at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
The star was accused of assaulting Sherene Flash at a show at Berkeley Square, Westminster, central London on September 25, 2008.
After hearing the evidence, District Judge Timothy Workman pointed out that all but two of the witnesses in the case had been drunk at the time of the incident.
Referring to medical reports undertaken after the alleged incident, he said that they did not show "the sort of injury that often occurs when there is a forceful punch to the eye", reports BBC News.
Leaving the courthouse Winehouse told journalists: "I'm relieved. I'm going home."
