Amy Winehouse confirmed for 'Strictly Come Dancing' TV comeback
Singer to support goddaughter Dionne Bromfield
In the BBC One show, set to broadcast at 7pm (BST), Winehouse will perform as a backing singer for her goddaughter, 13 year-old Dionne Bromfield. Bromfield will sing her debut single, a cover of The Shirelles' 'Mama Said'.
"Amy and I both love 'Strictly...' so it was brilliant to find out I'll be on TV for the first time singing on one of my favourite shows," Bromfield told BBC News.
Winehouse is releasing her goddaughter's debut album, 'Introducing Dionne Bromfield', through her new record label Lionness Records, on October 12.
