Britney Spears' ex charged with assault with a deadly weapon
Adnan Ghalib allegedly tried to run down a man with his car
Prosecutors claim that the 36-year-old paparazzo used his car to strike down a process server who was notifying him that Spears' father was seeking a restraining order against him in January. The process server reportedly clung to the hood of Ghalib's car to avoid being pinned and broke his wrist, reports the Associated Press.
Ghalib, who faces assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and hit-and-run charges, has not yet been arrested. He did not appear at a Los Angeles hearing yesterday (February 23) about the restraining order.
