COLDPLAY STAR CHARGED WITH MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Yep, you did read that correctly...

COLDPLAY singer CHRIS MARTIN has been charged with malicious damage in AUSTRALIA.

The band are currently Down Under on tour. According to the Australian press, Martin was allegedly involved in an incident with a photographer at the popular Byron Bay beach resort where he was surfing.

Photographer Jon Lister claims Martin demanded he deleted the pictures of him surfing from a digital camera. As the argument progressed it is alleged he went at Lister’s vehicle with a rock, before attempting to let the air out of his tyres.

Police later arrived at Martin’s hotel where he was charged. He is due to appear in the local Byron Bay Local Court on October 8 on a charge of malicious damage, according to the Australian Daily Telegraph.
