Courtney Love sued by fashion designer over online rants

The singer's blogging has landed her in trouble again

Courtney Love is being sued by a fashion designer over statements made on the internet.

Dawn Simorangkir, who operates the Boudoir Queen label, is taking action against the Hole singer over allegedly "menacing and disturbing" statements made towards her via MySpace and Twitter accounts.

The legal action, which was made on Thursday (March 26), accuses Love of libel, invasion of privacy, intentional interference with her business, infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract, according to BBC News.

Former friends Love and Simorangkir’s relationship has soured recently.

Last year the singer hailed the designer as a "genius", but in January she accused her of charging "crazy money" on MySpace, and earlier this month reportedly accused her of theft on Twitter.
