Ian Brown has been arrested for allegedly attacking his wife.

The former The Stone Roses man was arrested on suspicion of assault yesterday (November 2) after his neighbours alerted the police to a disturbance at the couple's west London home.

"A 46-year-old man was arrested at the address and taken to a police station," Scotland Yard confirmed to The Mirror.

As police investigated the disturbance it is claimed Brown's wife Fabiola Quiroz told officers he had attacked her.

Brown was taken into custody, but was later freed on bail until next month.

If it had been blown out of proportion then his wife wouldn't have told the police he hit her. If it is true the man's a disgrace, a talentless one at that.

what do you mean talentless...he was a part of a partnership that wrote one of britains best ever albums..and some fantastic solo songs...why nothing else being said about it on the news or papers..its simple the story was bollocks and they know it..a row that got out of hand..if he would have hit her it would be everywere by now.

a partnership which he actually contributed very little to, John Squire was the real star. Ian Brown can't sing, his solo stuff is unbelievably dull, apart from fear and stellify, and his lyrics are just hackneyed cobbled together cliches. He's overrated, in a 20 year career he's made one, admittedly very good, album and he didn't even contribute that much to it, all he did was write some of the lyrics, and he's hardly Morrissey is he?
