ARETHA, A ROCK'S NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION!
The odd couple from Detroit team up at the 'VH1 Divas Live' event in New York...
KID ROCK is to duet with ARETHA FRANKLIN at a tribute to the soul legend in the US next Tuesday (April 10).
The pair both hail from Detroit and their duet is set to be one of the highlights of the VH1 tribute, billed 'VH1 Divas Live'.
Marc Anthony will also duet with Franklin, and other performers at the event include three of Backstreet Boys - AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson - Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, Jill Scott and Nelly Furtado.
The glittering bash, which will be presented by a string of top female celebs including Sigourney Weaver, Renee Zellweger and Pamela Anderson, takes place at Radio City Music Hall in New York and will also feature four female stars from 'The Sopranos' - Edie Falco, Lorraine Bracco, Drea de Matteo and Aida Turturro.
Additional performers are expected to be added prior to the event.
