Les Savy Fav, Deerhunter added to Noise Pop lineup
San Francisco festival also announces music documentary screenings
Les Savy Fav and Deerhunter have been added to the bill for this year's Noise Pop festival, which is set to take place in San Francisco from February 24 to March 1.
They join a line-up that includes Stephen Malkmus, Antony & The Johnsons, St. Vincent, Kool Keith, French Kicks, Ra Ra Riot, Martha Wainwright, Broken West, The Morning Benders and The Submarines.
Similar to Austin's South by Southwest and New York's CMJ festival, the event takes place at venues throughout the city and includes a film component. This year's screenings will include the music documentaries 'Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison' and 'Gogol Bordello Non-Stop: A Gypsy-Punk Documentary'.
