MGMT to make 'surprise announcement' today (Oct 15)?

MGMT have warned fans to stay tuned for a "special surprise announcement" today (October 15).
The band, who are set to play in San Francisco this weekend (17) at the Treasure Island Music Festival, made their cryptic announcement via their MySpace blog.
Keeping things brief, the band simply told fans to "stay tuned Thursday morning for a special surprise announcement that you may find of interest".
They did not give any indication of a time or whether the announcement will appear on MySpace.com/mgmt or their official site Whoismgmt.com.
