Nine Inch Nails play last ever show in Los Angeles

Gary Numan and Dave Navarro join band onstage at Wiltern Theatre

Nine Inch Nails were joined by Gary Numan and Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro in Los Angeles for their last ever gig.

The band played a three-hour show at the Wiltern Theatre on Thursday (September 10) bringing to an end their 'Wave Goodbye' tour.

"This is it," frontman Trent Reznor said early on in the set, before later adding: "We're not going to tour anymore as Nine Inch Nails, but we're all still going to be making music."

He brought several guests onstage throughout the show, including pianist Mike Garson, best known for his work with David Bowie and later with NIN on 'The Fragile'.

Then Numan stepped up for three songs, before Navarro performed on 'Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)', reports Rolling Stone.

NIN also covered Joy Division's 'Dead Souls' during the encore.
