Singer hits the canvas thanks to legendary artist

Amy Winehouse has been immortalised as a piece of pop art.

The singer is the subject of a picture by legendary artist Gerald Laing.

The painting, entitled ’The Kiss’, shows Winehouse kissing husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Laing became famous in the early Sixties for his paintings of starlets and astronauts.

’The Kiss’ is part of a series of paintings featuring celebrities, with other works in the collection including images of Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham.
