Christian Bale apologises for rant

His tirade inspired two songs

Actor Christian Bale has apologised for the expletive-ridden tirade he reportedly made last year on the set of 'Terminator Salvation'.

While being interviewed on KROQ 106.7 in Los Angeles this morning (February 6), Bale admitted that his remarks were "inexcusable" and said that he acted like a "punk".

The rant was remixed into a dance tune by Los Angeles producer
RevoLucian, and inspired LA band The Mae Shi to make a tribute song 'R U Professional' sampling Bale, as previously reported.

Bale told morning deejays Kevin and Bean that he was channelling too much of his character, John Conner, reports the Associated Press. He added that he has reconciled with the cinematographer to whom the negative comments were made.

dont see why he should apologise. it's only cos of the pissing intrusive nature of the mobile phone generation that we ever heard the private rant. if we were privy to all such occurrences fuck knows where we'd end up. what a waste of press space.

Erm, Jase1982... he did apologise to the guy. That's why the very last sentence in that story says "He added that he has reconciled with the cinematographer to whom the negative comments were made." So maybe you should climb down off your high horse and read stories in full before jumping to conclusions.

It's a bit of a let down that he apologised. That rant was priceless! Very Patrick Bateman like.

i personally dont really like the man, hes ok in the batman films but thats all, but i dont think he should have to apologise to the public, he shouted at someone big deal, im sure theres celebs who kick off with people 10 times worse than that every day, the press need to get over it.
