Oasis announce refund details for Manchester show

Concert-goers must submit refund form and original tickets

Oasis have announced refund details for their show last night (June 4) at Manchester's Heaton Park, which saw the band leave the stage twice due to technical difficulties.

The Gallaghers promised to give fans at the 70,000-capacity venue their money back, even though they ultimately returned to complete a 23-song set and played past the curfew.

The band have asked concert-goers to print out, complete and sign a form available on their website, and mail it in along with their original tickets by June 12 in order to receive a refund of £38.30, which they say will be paid within 42 days of the deadline.

Forms should be sent to the following address: OHP, P.O. Box 6925, London, W1A 3UT

this is a class act considering they have completed the whole set for the fans. 70,000 x 38.80, we are talking about in excess of $2m here. I dunno how much of the proceeds would have gone to the band though,

very generous considering they still got to hear all the tracks.

Wouldn't mind the same thing happenin in Ireland seeing as we have to pay €80.Even considerin the exchange rate its still much more expensive, should be worth it though!

Listen, to all true oasis and music fans, let's put it in perspective, if Oasis wouldn't have announced they would give refunds no one would have said anything, we should think past that. fact is they played past the curfew to complete the full set. There is one good thing to come out of this, the ticket touts would have lost out bigtime as i seen people buying tickets for less than the full price, so therefor the will get a full refund. But i'm not going to send my ticket off, i will keep it along with my other tickets to remind me how once again Oasis put on a show and gave the fans the gig they wanted, and remember it wasnt their fault.

If you like your guitars loud and your rock down-to-earth, then we bet you're already pretty excited about the summer, when Oasis hit stadiums around the country. As well as tracks from 'Dig Out Your Soul', and the usual suspects, Oasis are bringing along a bunch of their worthy disciples, including The Enemy, Kasabian, Twisted Wheel and The Hours.
