Former Pink Floyd manager Bryan Morrison dies aged 66
Morrison had also previously managed The Pretty Things
After managing The Pretty Things, Morrison began putting on gigs for the early Pink Floyd. He later managed the band, but made his fortune in publishing music for the likes of T-Rex, The Bee Gees, The Jam and Wham!.
Famously, Morrison had his finger bitten - drawing blood - by an irate Syd Barrett after the Pink Floyd guitarist claimed he hadn't received a royalty cheque.
Morrison's major love was polo. He owned the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club and played regularly until 2006, when an accident put him in a coma.
Morrison's family had been told by doctors that there was little chance of him recovering from his injuries, and it is believed that he died on Friday (September 26) after contracting an infection, reports The Daily Mail.
His death comes less than two weeks after Pink Floyd founder member Rick Wright lost his battle with cancer, aged 65.
