Radiohead cover Neil Young

Radiohead at Victoria Park, East London, Tuesday June 24, 2008. Controversially, the band's set featured few crowd-pleasing favourites. When they did dip into their early back catalogue, for example 'Planet Telex', Thom Yorke described the song as "fucking nonsense".

Watch Thom Yorke and co covering 'After The Gold Rush' track

Radiohead covered Neil Young at their Hollywood Bowl gig earlier this week.

Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood performed their version of the opening track, 'Tell Me Why', from Young's 1970 album 'After The Gold Rush', on Monday (August 25).

The duo had previously tried to play the song at the Washington(August 20) leg of their American tour the week previous, but Yorke apparently forgot the words.

WOW - amazing band play cover of a freakin' amazing song. Wish I'd seen it at Vic Park!

Being a huge Neil Young fan I wasn't sure what to expect here but this is actually pretty decent.
