Rihanna says she'll testify against Chris Brown
The singer may be required to be a witness in her boyfriend's case
Apparently the singer, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, would be required by law to testify if prosecutors issue her a subpoena.
Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, added that she did not want a "no contact" order issued against Brown, reports the Associated Press. However, the singer did agree to report to the police if Brown breaks any violations of a court order preventing him from threatening, harming or harassing her.
Brown faces charges of assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats as the result of an incident on February 8 in which he allegedly beat his girlfriend, Rihanna, while they were sitting in a parked car in Los Angeles.
Brown's arraignment has been postponed until April 6.
