Super Furry Animals announce intimate Cardiff show

Band to play in their hometown later this month

Super Furry Animals have announced that they will play an intimate hometown show at the Cardiff Sub 29 venue on May 28.

With Gruff Rhys and co telling NME.COM earlier in the year that the Welsh band have quit touring for the foreseeable future, the show represents a rare opportunity to see the band in an indoor setting.

They recently released a new album, 'Dark Days/Light Years', and are set for a series of festival performances in the UK this summer including the Wychwood Festival (May 29), RockNess (June 16) and Bundoran's Sea Sessions (June 27) .

They also play London's Somerset House on July 18.
