Flaming Lips to play Pink Floyd 'Dark Side Of The Moon' album at Bonnaroo
Group to perform their cover album at the Tennessee festival
The Flaming Lips have revealed that they are to play their Pink Floyd cover album of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' at the upcoming Bonnaroo festival.
The group, who released the LP in December, last played the album live at a New Year's Eve show in their hometown of Oklahoma City.
"We did it at the New Year's Eve show just knowing everybody's gonna be taking acid, staying awake until five in the morning," Wayne Coyne told Spinner. "I don't think it'll be that much of a stretch to think Friday night at 2:30 in the morning at Bonnaroo would be that much different than being in Oklahoma City on New Year's Eve."
The festival takes place in Manchester, Tennessee between June 10-13, with tickets for the event going on sale on February 9.
