Fratellis side-project Codeine Velvet Club announce UK tour and ticket details

Jon Lawler heads out on the road in support of new single and album

Codeine Velvet Club have announced details of their debut UK tour.

The band, who are made up of The Fratellis frontman Jon Lawler and singer-songwriter Lou Hickey, head out on the road this November and December. Among the dates are two gigs in Glasgow, with the venues to be confirmed in the near future.

Codeine Velvet Club's first single, 'Vanity Kills', is set to be released on November 9, with the band's self-titled album to follow on November 16.

Does this signal the end of Fratellis' music? I had a wonderful night when The Fratellis came to town last year. I wasn't at the gig, i merely enjoyed a hot bath , a leisurely wank and later on some sausage rolls.

The fratellis second album was shit, don't care if they ever come back but I'm looking forward to hearing more of Codeine Velvet Club.
