Sting has a throat infection
The Police have cancelled two gigs on their world tour due to Sting’s voice problems.
The band cancelled a gig in Antwerp in Belgium on Tuesday (October 2) along with one on Wednesday (October 3) in Manheim in Germany.
Sting said that he was suffering from a throat infection adding that doctors “have advised him to rest.”
They have a gig on October 13 in Dusseldorf before heading back to the UK to wind up their European leg of their reunion tour.
The tour will then move to Latin America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, reports BBC News.
