The Thermals reveal new album details

Portland trio sign to new label

The Thermals have announced details of their forthcoming album.

The follow-up to 2006's 'The Body, The Blood, The Machine', is called 'Now We Can See' and is due out in the US on April 7. It will be their first full-length release on Portland-based independent label Kill Rock Stars, marking their move from Sub Pop.

The Portland trio will release a 7-inch of the album's first single, 'When I Died' on March 10, and will play shows at Austin's South by Southwest festival in mid-March.

If only they'd had a bit more exposure they could have been the band of our generation. The lyrics on their previous record were so good and they are a great live band. Can't wait!
