The Ting Tings have announced details of a new UK tour for 2009.

The jaunt will follow the band's sold-out UK autumn tour, set to kick off at the Liverpool Academy on September 20.

The newly-announced tour will see the Salford duo play seven dates in February and March 2009, culminating in a show at London's Brixton Academy on March 6.

Tickets for the dates go on sale at 10am (BST) on Friday (September 19).

The Ting Tings will play:

Glasgow Academy (February 25)
Manchester Apollo (26)
Leeds Academy (March 1)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (2)
Portsmouth Guildhall (3)
Swindon Oasis (5)
London Brixton Academy (6)

they can shove their talentless drivvle up their arse if they think they're going to anywhere near sell these out. i guarantee by 2009 the ting tings will be nothing more than a bad dream.

shut up! the ting tings are cool. although i don't really see the point in them doing that little tour next year as they've only releaced one album and their not really that big yet..

Just seen these comments. Nice to see the armchair critics doing their job again. Any idea how much work goes into producing such original live music? No, of course not. It might be an idea if you people tried to write, record tour and work your slats off for years before finally achieving recognition before you dismiss it out of hand. You don't have to like it as music is purely subjective. Just save your energy for positive comments. Oh - and 'cobbyshambles'? It's spelled 'drivel'.
