The band's art piece is set to sell for millions

A painting owned collectively by U2 that has adorned the wall of their recording studio in Dublin will be auctioned at Sotheby's auction house on July 1.

The painting, 'Untitled (Pecho/Oreja)' by Michel Basquiat, is expected to be auctioned for between £4 million and £6 million.

The artwork has adorned U2's studio wall since bassist Adam Clayton bought it in 1989.
