Something so grand shouldn’t come for free, but it does, and who’s complaining? Radiohead aren’t just providing Leeds’ sharpest with a business model; their twisted electronica clearly influences ‘New Franchise’ – an epic slice of paranoia-pop mixing bass and twinkly keys to mesmeric effect. “Hear me now tonight”, simpers singer Owen Brinley. Worth paying for. Almost.
