Mystery Jets

Two Doors Down

If nothing else, Mystery Jets will go down in history as the only band who have had to cope with the partial departure of the lead singer’s dad. Thankfully, Harrison Senior’s decision to semi-quit the Jets doesn’t seem to have caused too much strife. In fact, on ‘Two Doors Down’ they sound decidedly chipper and could – whisper it – have an actual grown-up hit on their hands. Because this is a breezy, giddy paean to falling in love with your neighbour, as light and fluffy as most of the Jets’ other stuff is odd. In summary: summery.
