So we’ve had the first couple of genius interviews, the UK dates have been announced, the first single’s all over the radio… Lord, ain’t it just great to have Oasis back? And the best thing is ‘The Shock Of The Lightning’ – if you haven’t heard it yet, think the Scream’s ‘Shoot Speed/Kill Light’ popped up, featuring two choruses and amazing Liam-sneered oddness like “Love is a time machine/Up on a silver screen” – while awesome, is still only about the fifth best song on ‘Dig Out Your Soul’.
