The Shock Of The Lightning

So we’ve had the first couple of genius interviews, the UK dates have been announced, the first single’s all over the radio… Lord, ain’t it just great to have Oasis back? And the best thing is ‘The Shock Of The Lightning’ – if you haven’t heard it yet, think the Scream’s ‘Shoot Speed/Kill Light’ popped up, featuring two choruses and amazing Liam-sneered oddness like “Love is a time machine/Up on a silver screen” – while awesome, is still only about the fifth best song on ‘Dig Out Your Soul’. Turn on, tune in, get ready to start believing all over again.

Absolute garbage, as usual the NME lick Oasis arseholes with a very mediocre single and an absolute crap album. The biggest Beatles tribute album ever and surprise surprise, NME give it 8 out of 10. WHAT A JOKE
