Paramore

Decode

“You think I can’t see what kind of man that you are/If you’re a man at all” wails Hayley Williams in her glass-shattering vibrato. Alas, the course of teenage love has never run smooth and old Hales sounds like she’s been drowning her sorrows in a pint of mother’s ruin and theatrical rock. Stay off the sauce, love. Have a nap. Get some perspective.

hahaha so true. I'm sick of over dramatic, teenage bands with "talent" singing about love when they've never felt more than lust. They really need to cool out and sing about things they actually have experience in, like milking a good song for as long as humanly possible!

Dammit, wish Muse were picked for the soundtrack instead (they were originally I think). Ah well, Hayley's hair looks coolio in the Decode video.

I could never see why NME disliked Paramore for all these years. But after hearing this song in every shop on the high street, it really does stress to you that Paramore now, is just old news. There's just do meaning to this track, all it's perpose is to advertise the upcoming movie 'Twilight'.Hayley, we're not listening!

Can't believe this guys have that much attention. Twilight sucks as a movie, and I'm fed up with Robert Pattinson

if you actually think about the book and then listen to Decode, its really easy to see how it connects. Its so different from anything else they've done, and personaly i think its amazing.

Paramore asked to write a song for Twilight because the books are Hayley's favourite. The song isn't meant to reflect on Paramore, it's just meant to reflect the film. And i think it does a good job, Hayley really captures the torn feelings that Bella feels throughout the book.

Paramore have gone down hill. They have made a poor song for a poor film taken from an extremely poor book. Their first album was brilliant. Their second album wasn't brilliant but I thought they might get better after that...apparently not.

i think it's a good track, certainly more mature as a song than say Halleluigh...
