The Subways

Alright

Adding further credence to the notion that a love split certainly makes for some tasty guitar licks, The Subways’ newie is stacked full of California sunshine and some of the downright cutest backing vocals we’ve heard since Juliana Hatfield chirped her way through The Lemonheads’ finer numbers. Can’t get to the beach this summer? Stand in some warm gravel, close your eyes and put this record on instead.
